WWRJD

Jesus used to hang out with a prostitute, so I really think he would have made a better Democrat.

The Pope wears Prada too

I am fairly sure that I am going to Hell for my past blog posts about the Catholic church.

Even if that one was not enough to do it, my post about Opus Dei, will seal my fate.

With that in mind, I don't mind saying that I believe the Pope sets a really bad example by wearing Prada shoes and Serengeti sunglasses.

For one, it sends a bad message to devote Catholics around the globe who live in abject poverty.

'There is still one thing lacking. Sell all that you own and distribute the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me. Jesus looked at him and said, 'How hard it is for those who have wealth to enter the kingdom of God!'" [Luke 18:18-23]

Secondly, a grown man wearing bright red loafers is totally gay.
The Catholic church does not need to reinforce that type of image.

Top Five

Here are the top five reasons you should not vote for John McCain.

"Drumroll"

1) John McCain positions himself as pro-environment, but he scored a 0—yes, zero—from the League of Conservation Voters last year. We really don't need any more pollution.

2) The Children's Defense Fund rated McCain as the worst senator in Congress for children. He voted against the children's health care bill last year, then defended Bush's veto of the bill.

3) According to Bloomberg News, McCain is more hawkish than Bush on Iraq, Russia and China. Conservative columnist Pat Buchanan says McCain "will make Cheney look like Gandhi.

4) His reputation is built on his opposition to torture, but McCain voted against a bill to ban waterboarding, and then applauded President Bush for vetoing that ban.

5) ... And finally, Heidi Montag is going to vote for him*.

"Rimshot"

*However, it has been reported by credible sources that her breast implants have decided to cross party lines and vote for Obama.

Small wrinkle in that plan

In Febuary of this year the popular FDA approved anti-wrinkle drug Botox and a leading competitor were linked to dangerous botulism symptoms in some users.

Some of the cases were so bad that a few children, given the drugs for muscle spasms, simply died.

Now, a new study, published April 2 in the Journal of Neuroscience, raises the serious concern that the popular anti-wrinkle treatment Botox may travel from its injection site into the brain.

This should not be a big problem.

Anyone stupid enough to inject botulinum toxin into their face simply to fill a wrinkle or two, most likely lacked a brain to begin with.
