SO MUCH TROUBLE IN THE WORLD

Rush to War?

You decide for yourself. I think this is a very good example of the Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld PR machine at work.

I sometimes get tired reading your blog because of all the terrible things you write about. It's good to know, but so exhausting to think about.

What a farce of a government. If it were a movie, everyone would say it could never happen.

My Backwards Countdown to Bush Counter depresses me sometimes because as quickly as I want the time to fly by in the administration, I don't want life passing me by in the meantime so it's a conundrum if you will.

It is quite the conundrum. If only you were an intern at the White House, everything could be so much easier.

I think this is a good blog - I am in the uK and this is an insite into the 'american' side that we don't see over here!

I think more people should have their eyes opened to the real world & what is really happening.

(PS. the dogs are always excited on any walk!)

Dear Peter, you posted on my blog about "QUITTING SMOKING", it's me, Jan. Thanks for posting the positive message about quitting.
I checked out your blog and just couldn't believe what I was reading and what a small world it really is. My youngest son just got out of the u.s. army (thank GOD)a few weeks ago. He signed up for 3 years but because of the stop-loss policy, he did a total of 4 years and went to Iraq twice. The first time, he was there over 8 months (Jan. 2003) second time he was there over a year. He went through pure hell and I HATE rumsfield and bush because of what my son and countless others went through and are still going through over there. It is for so many, a living nightmare what these enlisted folks go through. These enlisted troops suffer deeply but we don't see half of what they go through. The media only paints a patriotic picture but they don't tell us about the suicides, mental breakdowns, and insanity that really goes on. It's no wonder they're snapping left and right. My boy snapped too, he is not the same and he will never be the same. It's like he has no conscience (sp). My boy's story is like a million others that will probably never be heard. Maybe some people think your website is gloomy but is's the truth. Bush should be impeached. I sure as hell didn't vote for him. All I can really say now is that I'm glad my son is home and safe (for now) and I am truly sad for the troops that remain in immenent danger war zones and hope they all come home soon.

I am glad to hear that your son is home safe Jan. You seem like a really good mom.

Your son sounds like another really good reason to quit smoking. I am sure he wants you to live as long as you can.
