Deep "Si" fishing

It will take nearly 35,000 more jail beds to end a much-criticized "catch and release" program for dangerous illegal immigrants in the United States, but the Bush administration has not budgeted enough to do that, the Department of Homeland Security's internal watchdog said yesterday.

"CATCH AND RELEASE"?

When exactly did we start referring to human beings in the same terms that we use for small game fish?

Ah yes ... Now I remember.

what sweet picture of george bush and his developmentally disabled son at his son's MAN MADE, STOCKED (as in crammed to the mo fo hilt) with fish, so the 'tard can fish like a regular person. you actually don't need poles to fish in it you can just punch the water and you'll hit a few in the face.

so cute.

I think it was about the same time the vice president mistook a hunter for a bird.

People, animals -- I hear the difference only matters before an election.

Very interesting point. Funny, and sad at the same time. Perhaps you should forward that one to Jay Leno:) It would be the joke of the week...

If it's comedy you want, you should visit the blogs I have in my link section. Claudia, Sara, Matt and Anne are great comedy writers and very funny bloggers. I am amazed by how funny and original their work is.

... or you can check out drunk college students.

My blogg borders on grim sometimes, and half of it you could read in the NY Times. I read the news every day and sigh for breakfast. I see comedy in tragedy, in the same way that a bullied little kid makes jokes to hide the hurt inside.

You write so well, Peter. When laughing about the buffoon that runs your country is all you can do politically, laugh away.

Every time I am coerced into going to Wal-Mart I talk, loudly, about sweatshops and make sure to use the washroom before I leave empty-handed. It's sure not much of a protest, but it's better than nothing.
