Oh wow. That was an unbelievable story, with photos that are emotionally heavy, at times stark and often haunting. i am a journalist but i must have been out to lunch or something for i had not seen these or read this story before. Thank you for calling attention to this story, Peter, one of many just like it. Absolutely heartbreaking while a true testament to a mother's love. Really makes other "problems" seem completely without merit and totally inconsequential.
Man I was in tears by the end of this excruciating series of photo. A testament to human strength for all who had to endure. incredible. yes, my life is good. real good.
